Wendell Lee Story, 61, Covington, died Monday morning in his
home.
Mr. Story was an employee with County Market in Towne Centre,
Danville Ill. for the past four years and had been in the meat
cutting profession for 38 years. He was a 1960 graduate of
Bismark High School, Bismark, Ill.
He was born May 29, 1942, at Vermilion County, Ill., to Perry
and Eva Marie Dunavan Story. He married Carolyn Joan Holt June
16, 1963 at Covington. She survives.
Other suvivors include two daughters, Lesa Epperson,
Covington, Christy LaFoe, Covington; son Jason Story,
Veedersburg; mother Eva Story, Covington; and six
grandchildren.
His father preceded him in death.
Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday in First
Assembly of God, Covington, with the Rev. Mark McMinn
officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Shelby Funeral Home,
Covington.
